Hire an associate.
Train her like a hire.
She works the floor.
Cervito puts a named associate on the floor of your Shopify store. She greets, recommends, compares, bundles, handles objections, and hands off to a human when it matters. By text or voice, in 44 languages. She learns what works each week, and proves the revenue she earned.

Sarah
Online
Hey, I'm Sarah — happy to help you dial in a bag. What are you brewing on?
pour-over most mornings — want something fruity but not too acidic
Pour-over loves a bright, clean cup — this one's fruity without the sharp bite.
Ethiopia Yirgacheffe · Single Origin
$19.00
Grind
✨ Bright and clean — fruity without the sharp bite. 40 bags sold this week.
Powered by Cervito
She's not a chatbot. She's the associate you couldn't afford to keep on payroll.
She knows your catalog cold.
Grounded in your real products, real photos, real policies. She never invents a SKU, never promises free shipping you don't offer, never quotes a price that isn't live.
She remembers what works.
Every conversation that converts becomes a coaching note for next week. No quarterly retraining, no onboarding the new hire from scratch.
She hands off when it matters.
Refunds, custom orders, anyone genuinely upset — she escalates clean. Your team picks up mid-conversation with full context.
The real thing
Three moments, exactly as visitors see them.
Not illustrations — live captures of the production widget on our demo floor, Northbrook Coffee Co. The same Sarah your visitors would meet.
01 · Gift & occasion discovery
“Something for a coffee-nerd friend — under $25?”
02 · Side-by-side comparison
“Yirgacheffe or Sumatra? I drink my coffee black.”
03 · Bundle & upsell
“I’m new to pour-over — what do I need to get started?”
On the floor
She works the whole floor, not a single reply.
She greets browsers before they bounce. Recommends from your real catalog, compares two options side-by-side with a clear pick, handles the “is $19 too much?” objection, and pulls a “goes well together” bundle at checkout. When it's genuinely beyond her, she hands the thread to a human. By text or voice, in 44 languages.
- Proactive — she opens the conversation herself on dwell, cart-stall, exit-intent and four more signals
- Recommends, compares, bundles, and picks the right size or grind from plain language (“the ground one”)
- Grounded in your live catalog — never invents a SKU, a price, or a policy she can't verify
Side-by-side
2 of your roasts
Yirgacheffe
$19.00
- ✓ Bright, floral cup
- ✓ Made for pour-over
- — Too delicate for milk
Sumatra
$18.00
- ✓ Bold, earthy body
- ✓ Holds up in milk
- — Heavier than fruity
AI Pick: for a fruity morning pour-over the Yirgacheffe wins. Go Sumatra if you ever switch to milk drinks.
She gets better
Train her like you'd train a new hire.
Thumb up the conversations that closed. Thumb down the ones that didn't. She proposes the coaching note in plain English — you edit, accept, or reject. Accepted notes inject into every future shift. No prompt engineering required.
- Coaching notes versioned + tenant-scoped — never cross-shop leakage
- Daily debrief in your inbox: what visitors asked, what closed, what didn't
- Weekly retro highlights the patterns worth coaching next week

2026-04-12 · sizing
For Filson goods, recommend going up one size — they run small.
2026-04-15 · shipping
Don't quote international shipping windows — we changed couriers, route to a human.
2026-04-19 · gifting
For wedding gifts, prefer the boxed editions — they include the printed card.
2026-04-22 · returns
14 days from receipt, original packaging, customer pays return shipping.

Should I push the bundle to gift-shoppers under €60?
Prove it

Five attribution models side-by-side, a cross-device bridge that catches phone-browse → desktop-buy, and the number that actually matters: conversion lift measured against a hidden control cohort that never sees the widget. Causal, not correlation — the honest answer to “is this working?”
- 5 multi-touch models (last-touch, linear, time-decay, first-touch, position) — run the one you trust
- A/B holdout cohort proves true conversion lift, not vanity last-click credit
- Daily debrief + weekly retro: what visitors asked, what closed, what to coach next

Everything a great associate does, on autopilot.
Not a single answer. She opens conversations, builds baskets, talks and listens, and hands off cleanly — the whole shift.
She starts the conversation.
Six behavioral triggers — product dwell, collection bounce, cart stall, returning visitor, scroll depth, exit intent — so she greets before they bounce.
Curious about this roast? I can help you pick.
Speaks & listens. In 44.
Full hands-free voice — and she switches language mid-conversation.
She builds the basket.
A “goes well together” board with a live total — the AOV moment, right after add-to-cart.
Goes well together
Set total $45.00
Hands to a human — with everything.
Your team picks up with the cart, the full thread, and what she already tried — no “let me check, can you hold.”

Hey! Yes, we ship to PO boxes. I just added your gift note too.

Cervito vs. a chatbot vs. hiring a team.
A chatbot is cheap and dumb. A retail team is expensive and slow to scale. Cervito sits in between — and edges into the human column on the things that actually move carts.

The questions you'd ask
What we actually get asked on calls.
Not the marketing FAQ. The real ones — about training, handoff, mistakes, data, and what happens when something goes sideways.
How is this different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers FAQs. Cervito is a named associate — she has a name and a personality you train, she remembers what worked last shift, and she sells. She greets, recommends, handles objections, and escalates to your team only when she should. You're hiring her, not configuring an FAQ tree.
What if she gets something wrong?
She's built to refuse rather than invent. If a SKU isn't in your catalog, she says so. If a policy question is fuzzy, she offers a handoff with the full conversation context — your human picks up where she left off, never from scratch.
How do I train her?
After every shift, thumb up the conversations that closed and thumb down the ones that didn't. She proposes a coaching note in plain English ("don't push the bundle to gift-shoppers"). You edit, accept, or reject. Accepted notes inject into every future conversation. No prompt engineering required.
Will the widget slow my storefront down?
~55 KB gzipped, loaded async, isolated in Shadow DOM so it can't fight your theme styles. Under 50ms TBT impact and zero LCP delay on a typical Shopify storefront.
How do I get access?
Cervito is in private rollout via direct invite link from the founder. Email [email protected] with your Shopify domain and a short note about your store — we'll send you the install link within 24 hours. We're intentionally not listed on the public App Store; we want to onboard merchants we can support well.
How does Cervito handle visitor and customer data?
Conversations live in your tenant only — no cross-tenant sharing, no shared model training on your data. PII is column-encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Standard Shopify GDPR webhooks (data request, customer redact, shop redact) are honored within Shopify's stated timelines. Sub-processor list at /legal/dpa.
When does she hand off to a human?
Automatically: when a visitor explicitly asks, when her confidence on a non-product question drops below threshold, or when a topic matches your configured handoff rules ("refund," "complaint," whatever you flag). Your team picks up with the cart, the catalog she pulled, and the full transcript.
How long are conversations stored?
Default 90 days, configurable down to 30. Aggregate analytics (intent counts, conversion lift, attribution) retained indefinitely in anonymized form for trend reporting.
Can I cancel? Are there contracts?
Monthly billing, cancel anytime, no exit fees. Annual plans include a 10% discount paid up front; pro-rated refunds available for the unused portion if you cancel mid-term.
Ready to put a real associate on your floor?
Email the founder. We onboard you personally — no self-serve queue, no ticket system. She'll be selling before your lunch break.
